This country, together with the United States is on the brink of insanity when it comes to political correctness and health and safety standards, along with the new craze of quoting everyand everything possible, its outrageous! For example, I heard it's politically incorrect to refer to a table as a "slate", as perhaps seen as racist, for the love of God, is a board that is black and, therefore, a blackboard, it's crazy ! Another example is the phrase "Nitty Gritty", everyone would have thought it was just a normal way to say, but no, no, really politically correct to say in regard to the time of the slave trade, John Denham has had the misfortunediscovery of this in 2002! Also, I seem to recall some Christmas parties have been banned for fear of offending non-Christians! E 'can hardly believe it!
Changing the subject a little, a colleague and I were having an argument, and ultimately we were discussing whether or not it racist to call people of Pakistan, "Paki", many seem racist, but it is certainly different from the British call "English." There is no right or wrong answer to this,just all the different opinions and come to life!
I seem to remember the story of an American woman who spilled coffee on herself and burned herself, so demanded (and won) the bar or the shop where you bought it, and as a result of these times, when you buy a take away coffee, which "will realize that there are more labels that say" content, perhaps in hot or something that affects this.
