IBM and Danish Hospital Patient Records Pioneer smarter to improve patient care

IBM technology innovation intelligent electronic medical records using a 3D model of the human body has proven to be practical and valuable in a first test of a Danish hospital. Using a map or an avatar of the human body, medical staff in the Thy-Mors Hospital is now able to get an overview of the records of each patient at a glance. The software called Medical Information Hub (MIH) was created by scientists from Zurich Research Laboratory IBM in collaboration with experts from IBM Denmarkand a step towards forward-looking user-friendly and smarter health. IBM and Business Partner Nhumi Technologies will collaborate to commercialize the technology and plan to work together to develop innovative health solutions.
